Jundub ibn ʿAbd Allāh (RA) says,
"We were with the Prophet (PBUH) as boys approaching our teens. We learnt Īmān before we learnt the Qurʾān and then we learnt the Qurʾān and it increased us in Īmān."
(Ibn Mājah: 61)
